Data Storage
- Waitlist email addresses are stored securely
- Notes, screenshots, and extension state (such as note-taking status) are stored locally in the user’s browser using Chrome’s storage API
- No browsing history or personal content from YouTube is collected

- FineNotes.ai does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties
- No analytics or tracking services are used
Permissions
The extension requests only the minimum permissions required to provide note-taking functionality on YouTube pages.
Remote Code & Third-Party Services
FineNotes.ai does not execute remote code.
No third-party services are used, except for securely storing waitlist email addresses.
